da map is not the territory Sathyameva Jayathe! Noble words. But in India, you are not supposed to speak the truth. And that's the way our elected representatives have decided. Look at an official map
of India and you will see what I mean. Would any self-respecting person claim what
is not his own, as his own?
Altering a map, is the kind of thing you would expect rogue states like North Korea, Iraq, Serbia or Pakistan would do. True, the ousted Maharaja of Kashmir would have written off the whole of Kashmir to us, but then why is a Pakistan or P R China flag flying over most of what we claim is ours? If the war is to be won, we need to have truth on our side. Do you expect a Government that doesn't have the guts to tell its people that half the territory of a state it claims as it's own is not in it's control? Our soldiers fight because they believe that no alternative is better for our Kashmiris than the Indian Constitution. It's time we changed the map, for the better or for the worse. DBT sees only one reason for not making the LOC the actual border, TRUTH HURTS.
